Balaklava Cup is the largest country thoroughbred racing event in South Australia.
In excess of 13,000 people making the trip to the mid north farming town to let their hair down and have a great day at the races
The success of the day may be attributed to people being able to enjoy a fun day out, tailored to their requirements, at a very reasonable price.
At any Cup you may find over 60 corporate and private marquees, 90 TAB facilities, 17 bookmakers and a range of food and beverage outlets.
If you have clients that you would like to entertain than look no further than our event. Feel like a party with friends and enjoy racing? Come along to the Cup! There are plenty of options available.

A high profile, silver service marquee. The Barton Marquee is fully floored, formally decorated, and includes a four course catered luncheon, premium Coopers beers, Jacobs Creek fine wines and spirits. Entertain your friends or corporate clients in style.
Fully inclusive package in a stylish Cocktail Club environment with live entertainment, cocktails made by our guest cocktail staff, beer, wine and soft drink, base spirits, frozen daiquiri’s, gourmet cocktail foods throughout the day, race book.
This marquee is in prime location near the finish post with full TAB facilities and private beer-garden.
Caviar Bar is new in 2013 and has been developed due to the overwhelming demand of ticket sales in our other club arranged marquees. Caviar Bar is a "Sister" marquee to the Cocktail Club, however they will vary in theme, entertainment and menu.

Fully inclusive trackside marquee, including entry, race book, three course buffet lunch, beer, wine, spirits and soft drink. The Beldale Ball marquee is trackside with large beer-garden and has its own tote facility and TVs for comfort.

For a group of 40 or more people, a private trackside marquee is a great option for Cup Day. You will have a private marquee (minimum size of 6x6m) plus a private beer garden and furniture to suit your needs.
We can organize your catering- anything from gourmet finger foods to a sit down 3 course meal, otherwise you have the option of bringing your own food/ BBQ on the day.
Balaklava Racing Club has a NO BYO beverage policy, all beverages are preordered through the club and will be delivered to your marquee on ice on cup morning.

Mini marquees are located trackside just past the finishing post. The package includes a 3x3m marquee, tables, chairs and ten entry tickets.
Similar to the larger trackside marquees, your beverages are preordered and delivered to your mini marquee site on Cup morning. Extra beverages can be ordered throughout the day if necessary. We can organize catering for your group- a popular option is the gourmet BBQ. Alternatively, you're able to bring your own platters of food or BBQ to cook on.
Extra entry tickets can be ordered if necessary and if your group size increases there is always the option of upgrading to a 4.5x 4.5m marquee.
