Ceduna

Overviewceduna cup

The course has a resident caretaker to ensure the facilities are well maintained and in order.

The Ceduna Racing club has been racing at its current location for the last 17 years; the course was constructed by local people on a voluntary basis and has proved very successful.

The Club's vision is to increase awareness and growth of the Country racing industry, in particular on the Eyre Peninsula, by providing racing action, spectator friendly entertainment and services which could link our neighbouring race clubs.

Facilities

The course houses excellent facilities, such as eleven overnight stalls, large bull ring, rubber protected horse stalls, sand roll, toilets, showers, large entertaining shed with kitchen and bar facilities.

The racetrack is a well-oiled dirt track and maintained in excellent condition with an inside training track. Horse trainers also have access to a beach nearby to train their horses on.

The racecourse is in full view from the well lawned public area allowing all of the racing action to be seen by patrons.

There are currently two resident trainers that lease land and have stables set up for training horses, there is room for further expansion for on course trainers.
