The Oakbank Easter Racing Carnival will be a destination for families again this year, providing plenty of action and excitement for mum, dad and the kids. Recognising children are a large component of its overall attendance, the Club has enlarged its offering for families in 2018.
Along with all the usual rides and amusements, children will be able to take pony rides or get up close and personal with some furry friends in the petting zoo.
The Stable Stars - a kids club designed especially for horse lovers - will also be entertaining children aged between three and 11 years throughout the day. Along with participating in games and craft activities, Stable Stars club members will receive a special visit from Archie, the cuddly Stable Stars mascot.
For older children, a sports program co-ordinated by Kelly Sports will include everything from cricket games and running races to tug-of-war, and promises to keep them entertained all day long.
Specky Events join the free kids entertainment list in 2018 where kids can get their footy fix and pretend to be Tony Modra or Jeremy Howe for a day!
The Melba's giant Easter egg hunt will take place every hour on the Saturday and Monday of the Carnival, keeping children entertained between gallops.
