After a magnificent start to the Adelaide Festival of Racing last week we have another great day ahead at Morphettville on Saturday.
There are huge fields throughout the card, with six of the eight races having capacity fields which means there should be plenty of value for punters!
Along with the Group 1 UBET SA Derby there are also two other black-type races on Saturday which look to be great races on paper.
Race 2 - Group 3 UBET SA Sires' Produce Stakes
It looks to be another hot edition of the Sires' Produce Stakes with four last start winners in the field including the Phillip Stokes trained Broadband who is the $3.60 favourite.
While the Sires' has previously been run earlier in the Autumn, no winner in the last five years has finished worse than second in their last start. Six of the twelve horses in the field fit that criteria including the favourite and dual second elects, Casino Fourteen and Snitzepeg.
The interesting runner is the $6 chance Danger Deal from the Macdonald & Gluyas yard who is still a maiden but has only missed a place on one occasion from six starts. He comes off a third placing in the VOBIS Sires at Caulfield where he was held up a touch but ran on strongly.

Casino Fourteen, Snitzepeg - $5
Danger Deal - $6
Silverhawk, Time Awaits - $8
All others - $26+
Race 6 - Listed Adelaide Galvanising Adelaide Guineas
The Lee & Anthony Freedman trained Petition will be looking for a hat-trick of wins on Saturday as she lines up as the $2.50 favourite in the Listed Adelaide Guineas. Petition has done everything right since returning from a spell including winning her last start by 1.75 lengths at Flemington on ANZAC Day.
The second and third elects in the market, Milwaukee and Spanner Head were also last seen at Flemington on ANZAC Day where they ran fifth and second respectively behind a handy filly called Egg Tart. That form should hold them in good stead heading into Saturday after Egg Tart's thrilling win in the Group 1 Schweppes Oaks last weekend.
Three of the last five winners of the Adelaide Guineas have come out of the Listed Nitschke Stakes and there are eight horses in Saturday's field who ran in this year's Nitschke including the first three placegetters in Fox Hall, Cappadocia and Weather Channel.
Fox Hall is on the fourth line of betting after his strong in his win in the Nitschke while Cappadocia and Weather Channel who both hit the line strongly are not as fancied at $21 and $26 respectively.
